About the Author

Carmine Lofaro has been commissioned by a private publishing consortium to conduct a philosophical study on the non-obvious nuances of soccer analytics. The philosophy is based on his personal views after researching tactics of successful coaches such as Enzo Bearzot, Arrigo Sacchi, Bill Belichick and Scotty Bowman.

Lofaro has coached amateur soccer teams in Ontario, Canada for the past 30 years. Analytical Philosophy is at the core of his theories and holds USSF National A-Senior License, NSCAA/USC Premier Diploma, NCCP/CAC Level 3 Certification and FA Talent Identification Level 2 Certification.

Lofaro also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in combined History & Philosophy from McMaster University, and specialized in warfare tactics and the psychology of war. In addition, Lofaro’s concepts are integrated with a foundation of analytical thought derived from logical thinkers such as Gottlob Frege, G.E. Moore, Bertrand Russell and Sun Tzu.

Lofaro is presently perusing a Master of Science degree (Performance Football Coaching and Development in association with Chelsea FC Foundation) at St. Mary’s University Twickenham London (U.K.) and is the Head Coach for the Oakville SC Men’s Under 21 Provincial team.
